Quilt as Desired

Now in it's fourth  year, the annual "Quilt as Desired" Challenge is sponsored  by SewBatik.

SewBatik will supply a fat quarter of their wonderful batik to get you started. You will add one fabric of  your choice, make sure you include an Ohio Star in the  piecing, and  "Quilt as Desired".

Winners will be  chosen by viewers choice, and  awards will be  announced at the  Friday evening banquet. A special award will also be given  by SewBatik for  best use of the sponsor's fabric.

There are a limited  number of  fat quarters available. Don't hesitate to  order your  fabric packet, and join in on the challenge fun!

· SewBatik has supplied a fat quarter of their wonderful batik to get you started. A recognizable amount of SewBatikTM challenge fabric must appear on the front of the quilt.
· An Ohio Star quilt block must be recognizable on the front of the finished piece.
· Quilt must be constructed of three layers ~ top, batting, back ~ stitched together and bound.
· Machine quilted entries only will be accepted.
· Completed quilt must measure 25” x 25”.
· Embellishments of any kind may be added, though not required. Included but not limited to,
paint, dye, thread painting, beads, crystals, etc. Trapunto or piping may be added.
· Quilt must have an attached label with your name, and address.
You may attach a hanging sleeve, but it is not required.
