Can’t figure out what to do with those sashings and borders? By learning a few styles of “reference marks” you will learn over a dozen go-to sashing/border designs. We will construct a “stitch-and-flip” sampler that you can reference over and over. A must for any machine quilter’s bag of tricks!
Supply List: From plain fabric in a variety of colors, cut selvedge to selvedge 8 – 6” strips and 6 – 3” strips. Bring 45” x 60” muslin and batting, a 12 – 18” drafting ruler and a variety of fabric markers. Some markers available in class
* Optional Class Kit: (You supply or email teacher and purchase at class $25) – bigtimequilter@yahoo.com) Muslin backing 45”x60”. Batting 45” x 60”, colorful strips of fabric to “stitch-and-flip into a reference sampler. Students must bring a drafting ruler and markers if buying kit. Some markers available in class.
