We’re going to take out the bobbin winder and see what makes it work, then tune it up to wind perfect bobbins. We will be taking out the hook assembly, and seeing how the stitch is made, rebuilding the tensioners, replacing anti-backlash spring, rebuilding the bobbin case, checking motor brushes and belt tension. Then we will be timing the hook and needle, the hopping foot, the rocking finger, the intermittent tensioner, everything that will affect stitch quality and life of your quilter. StatlerStitcher will be included if those participating own a Statler. That will include adjusting drive belt tension, and the options menu. Time permitting we will take questions. We will be using the new service manual. With that as your reference, you will be able to repair that quilter at 2 AM, while trying to get that deadline met. (You can download and print the annual from the Gammill site if you don’t’ already have one.)
